What is an essay?

An essay is somthing that you write about anything. It consists of multiple paragraphs an intro, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Essays contain things like CDs and CMs, symbols, metaphors. Many essays are about novels or short storys. there are different type of essays, compair and contrast essays and persuasive essays.
